This tiny poem (is it a poem?) has so much resonance for me, it's fucking crazy. I'm so curious what it's about for you.
Actually, it is (appropriately enough, given the person to whom I'm speaking!) a song I had in my head. It's called "Everything I Own" and is by Bread. It's a sappy love song, but that line...that line...
